Chromatic aberration, explained
When light passes through a lens, its colors bend at slightly different angles, as in a prism. The eye cannot focus all the colors perfectly, which can lead to blur, reduced contrast and even color fringing. These effects are especially pronounced in low Abbe lens materials, stronger prescriptions and larger frames.
Lenses have traditionally been optimized for a single standard wavelength of yellow light (587.6 nm). CamberPure™ is optimized for color convergence across the spectrum (656, 588 and 486 nm), bringing the colors closer together and into sharper focus.

How to order CamberPure™
- Send accurate monocular PDs and fitting heights taken on the actual frame. Minimum fitting heights are 14 to 18 mm.
- Send position-of-wear values (wrap, pantoscopic tilt, vertex) whenever you can. Defaults are used when they are missing.
- Note any non-adapt history so our team can review the job with that in mind.
