What the testing establishes

The tested configurations passed the high-impact prescription lens material qualification requirements evaluated by COLTS under ANSI Z87.1-2025, Section 7.1.4.5. The report records three passing lens samples for each of the six configurations.

This is a lens material qualification result. It does not establish that every Mialab lens, every coating combination or every assembled frame-and-lens combination meets all requirements of ANSI Z87.1. The frame, lens mounting, markings and requirements for the intended use must also be confirmed for a complete safety-eyewear order.

Planning a prescription safety-lens order

  1. Identify the intended use. Share the patient’s work requirements and any employer-specified safety-eyewear requirements.
  2. Confirm the lens and frame combination. Ask our team about the prescription, lens design, frame and the exact material/coating combination before placing the order.
  3. Confirm availability and timing. We will help you review the order details, current pricing and expected turnaround.
